Returning to school is very different this year. Parents are worried about sending their kids back to school because of health concerns. Teachers are exploring new learning tools and methods that can be used in a remote class environment. With Covid-19 making big changes to our daily routines, everyone has to adapt accordingly. 

But despite the high anxiety levels, total back-to-school spending in the US is still expected to increase compared to 2019, reaching a total of $28.1 billion (or $529 per student). What’s interesting is that more parents plan to spend on virtual learning tools like e-learning platforms and online courses.
